Seneca Special Services is accepting applications for a Paraprofessional.

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Have 60 college credit hours
• Pass the Missouri Paraprofessional Test through ETS
• Have passed the ParaPro Assessment (before September 23, 2013)
• Have passed the Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson (July 1, 2024 forward)
• Hold a valid Missouri Substitute Certificate (which can be obtained by completing the 20-hour online Substitute Training Program)

The Paraprofessional position provides support to the instructional program within assigned classrooms, with a focus on assisting at-risk students. Responsibilities include:

• Following educational and behavioral plans
• Documenting students’ daily activities
• Modeling appropriate behavior and positive interactions with students and staff
